BEFORE YOU GET IN TOUCH

A little preparation helps

Choose the Delta Air Lines contact according to the purpose printed beside it. Have the ticket issuer and your question clear before calling. The telephone opens your device’s calling application and connects directly to the displayed number.

  • Compare the department and region with your enquiry.
  • Check the original company source for current availability.
  • Give personal booking details only to the airline or responsible seller through a private channel.

Making a reservation

Use the airline’s booking channel to review available flights and fare terms. This directory does not quote fares or issue tickets.

01

Changing your flight

Your ticket issuer is the starting point for a Delta Air Lines itinerary change. Check the booking conditions and the full difference in price before agreeing to a replacement flight.

  • Keep the confirmation, passenger names and preferred new dates together.
  • Ask which parts of the booking will change, including seats and extras.
  • Save the new itinerary once the provider confirms the amendment.

Cancelling a reservation

Cancellation and a cash refund are separate questions. The ticket conditions and circumstances determine whether the remaining value becomes a refund, a credit or is non-refundable.

  • Confirm the passengers and flight segments you intend to cancel.
  • Use the original ticket seller for an agency-issued ticket.
  • Keep the cancellation acknowledgement and any refund reference.

Refund requests

Distinguish a first Delta refund application from checking an application already made. The Refund Status telephone is listed for follow-up, and should not be treated as a line that approves a new refund.

Check an existing refund request

Delta publishes a separate refund-status line. It is for checking a refund already requested; it does not guarantee eligibility or immediate payment.
